Toast Rack A3 Art Print

This A3 print by artist Laura Knight features Manchester's iconic Toast Rack building, designed by Leonard Cecil Howitt and completed in 1960. Formerly known as the Hollings Building, it was designed as a catering college and became part of Manchester Polytechnic. The design was a playful expression of the building’s purpose and features a mix of modernist and brutalist elements. It achieved Grade II listed status in 1998, cementing its place in the architectural history books.
